Stamati tells me of a business venture. It’s coffee. Not just any coffee. It’s Sonoma Coffe Café. Actually has a nice ring to it. You can get a franchise. The guy selling you the franchise tells you to do some research on franchising, see if you are fit for this kind of work, some call it indentured. Tells you to go online, to read some books. You think that's a reasonable thing to do. So do I. So you do. Apparently, the best book on franchising, and the coffee franchise rep profusely apologizes for this monumental lapse by the CPD (cliché prevention department), is unfortunately but all the more hilariously “Franchising for Dummies”. Seriously. No, really.
